Alternatively, if it has been up a thousand times already, can you pass me the
info too.

Subject: Winsock on Novell Netware
We have a Winsock application that is both a client and a server
simultaneously. Currently we are using NetManage's Chameleon 4.0
package for TCP/IP. We want to be able to run our app on Novell
Netware. I understand there is a product available that allows Winsock
apps to run on Netware. Am I correct? Assuming we don't care about the
other TCP/IP apps such as TELNET, FTP, etc., do we still need Chameleon
or a TCP/IP stack to run our app on Netware?
I believe this product is called LAN Workplace.
Thanks.

Subject: Internet Voice Chat
Have people got Internet Voice Chat to work with Trumpet Winsock and if so
1) what version of trum winsock are you using?
2) where did you get that version?
(I heard that version 1.0 Rev B6 works, but i can't find it...)

Finger lesikar@tigger.stcloud.msus.edu. You will get a list of public NNTP
servers. The list is long, so I'd pipe the output to a file. Example:
finger lesikar@tigger.stcloud.msus.edu > nntpserv.txt
Many of the servers only allow access via gopher, which means you can only
read the news. However, a method is described for posting via e-mail.

Subject: Re: alt.winsock.binaries???
There are so many FTP sites that have a Winsock collection that I don't see a
good reason that alt.winsock.binaries is necessary. All the popular MS-DOS
(oakland) and Windwos (CICA) have a directory for Winsock-based programs!
Surely anyone who can make use of Winsock would already be able to do
anonymous FTP.

Subject: Mosaic 2a and telnet
This may be really basic, but I wonder if anyone can help me out.
I am running WinMosaic 2.0 alpha over Trumpet Winsock. HTTP and gopher URLs
work fine. When I specify a Telnet server, however, it tells me I don't
have the Telnet viewer, then prints the following line in the dialog box:
Telnet/RLogin/tn3270
Is 3270 a terminal type or something? The network's NCSA software is
version 2.3, from March 1991, and supports only vt100 emulation. Nowhere in
the Mosaic install documentation did I see mention of how to change expected
emulation in the .ini file.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
